My sister is moving into Deer Park Village. It's got lots of activities daily and there's a board that's located in different areas within assisted living, and it's nicely done. The other thing we were looking for was therapy and their therapy rooms were just beautiful. They have an indoor pool, which is nice. The outdoor areas were just beautiful and the rooftop is secure. You have to get in the building to be able to get up there, so it was nice that it's a secure building. There's parking also. It's a huge parking garage which is great if people have cars because there's independent living there, too. The dining facilities were nice. I just felt like overall, it's the right place for her and it's gonna meet her needs. The staff was very informative, knows his job well, really listened to what the needs were for my sister, and hit on all of the top things that would pertain to her. He was just fabulous. He offered food and he also said that family members can come and have lunch or dinner with my sister, so that was a plus, too. The food smelled great.
