The building was very clean, from the front visitors area to the cafeteria and room I visited. It was pleasantly quiet at the time. I happened to show up around lunchtime, so I sat with the resident during her meal. There was slight confusion during the serving of the meal, but it appeared to be well-prepared food and the resident said she enjoyed it. She was given her medication with her lunch and the nurse was very polite and made sure that all of the pills were taken. The resident's clothing appeared to be in good, clean shape. This nursing home had a hospital odor but not a foul smell that sometimes is in a nursing home. There were posters up for some civic choir that was going to be performing soon at the facility. I heard a couple of alarms go off while I was there, but they were tended to fairly quickly. When I left, I noticed that the grounds were well kept and the parking lot seemed to be in good shape. I thought that this nursing home was much nicer than others that I have visited in my life. I would consider this facility if I needed to shop for a place such as this for a loved one.
