My father has moved into Idaho State Veterans Home - Lewiston. I like them a lot. I think they do a good job. They take 24-hour care, and the nurses, from what I observed, are friendly and nice to the residents, especially to my dad. They've been doing a lot of fixing up, and I like it. It's not so clinical looking, and it doesn't look like a hospital or an actual nursing home that you walk into. Every time I've gone there, the rooms are clean. There's nothing on the floors, and there's no mess in the bathrooms or anything like that. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They've never put me off when I've asked questions and stuff. They have given me straight answers. They have games and bingo of course. They always give me a calendar of activities for each day.
