As a family we were not prepared to take in my husband's mother. We had to relocate her from another state to Idaho. My husband took an early retirement so he could provide for her full time. As it turns out, there is more to this process than we thought. We made contact with Rick at the Bennett House; all we could say is he is heaven sent. He has taught us so much about Alzheimer's and how it affects us all. The Bennett House is much more than a facility to drop off a loved one, but it feels like home. The environment is that of a home - it's warm and inviting.

My father received excellent care. They provided activities and companionship He enjoyed going to The Bennett House. The facility was very clean and well-kept. The outside grounds were safe with many features for them to look at.

Our father has severe dementia. Everyday, he is greeted with kindness and companionship. They play cards and games together. They also feed him well. They make everyone feel welcome and at home. Our dad has a new purpose in life and for getting up every day.

The Bennette House is well maintained. Their staff is very courteous. My 93-year-old father looks forward in going to the place everytime. He then comes home in great mood. This place makes his day. Rick Bennette is indeed a wonderful caregiver.

My mom is a fall risk. I take her to Rick at Bennette House on the days her in home provider does not work. Rick is kind, very caring and very watchful. I never worry about my mom now that she is there. I know that she is happy and safe!
