My mom is in Tignall Assisted Living. It goes all the way to memory care. We chose this because it's a little closer to all the family members and is a smaller community. There are about 12 residents, so it's more compact. It's easier and less walking for them and less doing anything. When they get out of bed, they go to the dining area to eat. Everything is compact; it's really nice. They help with your bath and they help you with dressing if you need it. They have meals and all the activities for them. She likes her accommodations. She loves it and has a great time. The facility is good. It's a big older house, but it's all fixed up nice inside and clean. The staff members and owners are nice. She works there 24/7 too and lives close by. I haven't tried the food, but I have seen it. It looks good. All of them have roommates. It's a nice place for a cheaper price.

Tignall House is a Wolf in sheep’s clothing. On the surface, it appears to be an adorable quaint nursing home. But behind its doors are sadness and patience, not being taken care of. My grandmother has been here 5 years. In this time she has hand numerous “accidents”. The last one was a fall out of bed and a crushed hip. Now she is bedridden. The owner has threatened our family multiple times with eviction when we ask any questions. These ladies deserve so much better. The food they receive at each meal is barely enough for toddler. The women are left alone for hours without care. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE. My grandmother will be looking for new housing ASAP.
