The Haven at Fayetteville is a two-story facility, and it is assisted living, with a smaller part that is memory care. Both my daughter-in-law and I really liked that place. It had kind of a family feel to it. The people that we met were very nice, and the sales director really did a good job talking about the facility, getting the residents out of their rooms and mixing with the other people, the trips that they line up to get them out of the facility entirely, and the activities inside. It was just friendly. It's hard to define because the other places were friendly too, but it somehow had a kind of family feel about it. The rooms were very nice, and you had a choice of a single room, a studio room, or a one-bedroom. All of the rooms that we saw had a space for a bedroom setup as well as a visiting area. You could put in a couch, some chairs, and a table. It wasn't huge, but enough room that you could have guests come in, sit, and visit, and have enough of your own personal things that you could feel at home and manage. There were a number of different areas. They had a little chapel where you could go in and meditate or have a Bible study. They had crafts going on. They had a separate small dining room where you could have a family celebration.

We toured, and it's very clean and nice. The only problem was that my dad wanted to have access to a golf cart path. The staff was very friendly and outgoing and they spent time with us. The size of the room was good, the layout was simple, and it had no second floor.

It was a professional tour. It was clean. The only thing that they had was a shared room. That's the only thing they had available around there. If I went with them, I would have to wait to be put on the waiting list. I don't have a problem with that because I'm not in a rush. But it's just that it is a lot further away from me where I am now, which I will certainly continue to be where I am, but it was very quiet and very secure. They showed me where the patients were being set and where they would eat. They showed me all the amenities, the places, and the things they had to do, including theater rooms, and TVs.

I visited. They showed me the rooms and they had a small refrigerator. It's an older facility, but it's very well-decorated and very homey, it just made me feel at home. Even the dining for each resident had a place setting with their menu attached, and that was very personable. I didn't smell anything, it was very clean. They said they had 43 residents. I only visited their assisted living and only saw a couple of residents, so I didn't see a lot of people. I saw several workers walking around who were very polite and they said hello. I felt that I was rushed during the tour because somebody else was waiting. I told them it was OK, and they apologized profusely because they kinda forgot me there and I just sat for 30 minutes. They did their job even though there were a couple of interruptions. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good job.

It is a nice place. I would recommend it. I didn't have much of a tour because the lady that was supposed to lead the tour was not there that day. She was supposed to be in, but she wasn't. We looked at the room and kind of looked around a little bit. It wasn't much of a tour, but it was a nice place. It's a really nice place. The amenities are really good. They've got very good assisted living programs. They have music, movies, and bingo. They have just about anything you want to do to stay busy. The dining area was very clean, very nice-looking, and very tempting to eat.

We have decided on here. My mother-in-law will be moving into their assisted living. We like pretty much everything about it. We spoke to a lot of people who work there. We like their professionalism. Everybody seems to be having fun. We also talked to some of the residents there, and one happened to be a former member of the CIA, and she had been living there for about 11 years, and she loved it. We like the activities. They are not too exorbitant. We've seen some other places where they were overly hyped. I really had no complaints about this place. The food was great. We even sampled the food. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law smokes, and they even have a smoking place that would not be too far down the hall from her room. They have a lot of different games and things like that, especially bingo, and it's probably the only game that my mother-in-law, she likes loves bingo. She hasn't played for quite some time, so she's going to enjoy that.

It was a nice community. It was clean and the front desk staff was very nice. I liked the tour that we had and I liked that they separate memory care from assisted living. The dining area was also nice and clean. They have a TV area, a courtyard, and a garden where they grow vegetables. The rooms were a good size for individual rooms, while the person who did the tour was nice too.
