Heritage House

My mother-in-law is a resident of Heritage House. We're very happy with it because she's happy there. She loves her room and is very relaxed and confident with all the folks there. We have no complaints whatsoever so far. They're always very pleasant and very attentive. Any time that we go, it's not hard to find someone. They make themselves available. They're upgrading and correcting anything that might be wrong, and that's ongoing. I've seen some of the projects they're working on. They have televisions in the common areas, and most residents have a TV in their rooms. They also have outside folks coming in, and they have group time together and things like that. It's very nice. As for the value, it's quite fair.

My brother moved to Heritage House in Dublin. It's just a good place for him to be. It's a good environment, he is safe there and they look after him, and they take him to the doctor if he needs to go. He is also close to a hospital. I go down there and see my brother at least about twice a month, and the staff are good people. The facility is great. It's beautiful, and is kept up very well. My brother gets three meals a day and a snack in the afternoon. I also get him some snacks and other stuff when I go down to the grocery store. He's taken care of, I have no doubt about that. It's worth what it is being paid for.

When I went to visit someone and there all I could smell was urine I saw some of the residence actually sitting out saying they were starving and hungry I went to the room to visit with someone and I could hear one of the workers up front screaming at one of the residents which highly highly upset my family and I we went to talk with the woman who owns the place and her response was shrugging her shoulders and saying well I wasn't there so I can't say anything how disrespectful unprofessional and cruel needless to say we move the person that was there this is an extremely terrible Place why are they still open and in business?

Absolute worst place ever don't ever put any loved one over there they won't live very long terrible people especially the owner

Overall, the place was decent. When touring I felt it could have been cleaner. Especially since I was in school for being a CNA and they were expecting our visit. The staff was extremely nice and knew their information. It was a great refresher weekend for my test because unlike some staff they Actually knew what they needed to. They had good amenities for the average age. Overall they are good, I'm just not sure I'd place my family there.
