I moved into the independent living community of Wellington Bay, and it's great. It's luxury living, and like living on a cruise ship. Everything that you look for is here. The staff members are all very helpful. They have a library, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and exercise programs. They have 4 dining rooms, 6 different clubs, and they have committee meetings. Everything that you need is included here. The food is all gourmet and cooked to order. You get what you pay for, and it's well worth it. There may be cheaper places, but there's no other place that you get as much for your money.

Wellington Bay felt like a hotel. It did not have a warm, welcoming feeling, but at least they didn't have people sitting in the lobby who looked like they should be in assisted care. The room was adequate. It's a new facility and it had some nice amenities and rather modest rooms. It just was not the right fit. They've got very nice staff. I didn't get a good look at whatever was going on. The only thing that I watched was seated drumming. They did have a pool that interested me. It's very nice and very convenient to everything.

Wellington Bay is first class all the way. It's more than we can afford. Everything was first class. The only difference is you have to be very wealthy to move in there. Everything was clean, modern, and very nice. They had walking trails and pools. They had everything you could ask for. It was like you're going to a resort. We had a meal there, and it felt like I was going to a first-class restaurant. The staff was good. Everything was excellent. It's just the price was more than we could afford. You get what you pay for. If you pay a high price, you get everything you want.
