My friend moved into Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living last May 13th. The facility is clean. But they are understaffed. The majority of the staff are very friendly. The building has some structural problems. We had some issues or still have issues with her shower pan draining. The size of the room was bigger than the other one I visited. The dining room is nice. Outside, they have a garden area in the middle and also a front porch area.

We had a walk-through of Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. The facility itself was very clean, which we liked. The young lady who brought us around was very attentive. I like that they had a low population. I think there were only 43 to 45 residents, so it's a little on the low side. We only had contact with two young ladies, and they seemed very personable and very nice. The facility was spotless. As we walked by open rooms, they were spotless, too. I saw they were helping one resident, and they were treating the resident very kindly.

There is a horrid sewer gas smell in many areas of the building. While it looks nice the smell is horrid and wonder why the health dept hasn't been called. The staff seem to have their faces in their phones, instead of watching residents. The 24/7 snacks and drinks are no where to be found.

Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living is a very bright place, which my aunt likes. It is very clean and very friendly. We like the apartments we saw. We like the facilities. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. She was very understanding and very caring about my aunt and her well-being. We saw their dining area, but we never tried their food. It was very clean. It smelled good. The apartments' sizes were good. They looked very clean. They just removed their place recently. Everything is very bright, which my aunt likes. We don't like dark places. And it was very clean all over.

My husband is in Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. The care is good. The people are nice. The only problem is that they give a very small portion of food to the clients and they are always hungry. The food is horrible. They give them hotdog sandwiches and half a hamburger. They have to improve that because this is a big company and they charge a lot of money. I think that the people over there are supposed to have a nutritionist and give nutritious food to these people. Sometimes they give them a salad with pieces of chicken that they take directly from the freezer. They sometimes give them a cheese sandwich for lunch and that cold salad with cold pieces of chicken without cooking it in the afternoon. The care is getting better now. The staff is more alert because I complained to the director, and they hired more staff. They have some activities, but I haven't seen much. They are now doing a very good job taking care of them. Before, I saw no empathy for the well-being of the patient. The director had a big meeting with the staff and they are now working the way that they are supposed to work. They give the medicines on time. They are more concerned about the patients now. They are going to fix the place. They told me they are planning to change everything.

Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living was very nice. Everybody was very friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. The person doing the information for the tour did a great job. We had lunch there, which was very nice. It was fabulous. The dining room was welcoming. They asked us what we wanted, and then they brought it out to us. Their facilities were very nice. The rooms were very nice. They showed us the different available options. They had a nice courtyard. The overall atmosphere was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Their activity list was large. The bus had taken the residents out to go to the movies while we were there.

Sodalis Tallahassee was very nice. It's clean and well-organized, and the way they've got it furnished is very nice. The staff I met was very helpful, seem very pleasant, and as we toured the facility, I've seen them interact with the residents there, and they seemed very good with them. I had no complaints. My tour of the lobby area and the outside of the facility was very, very nice. They also gave me a tour of a room, and everything I've seen about it was very nice.

My mother is moving into Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. My mother toured it after I did, and she loved it. And so the biggest factor was the fact that she wanted to go there. It was pet friendly. That was important to us. The facilities were nice, they had nice activities scheduled, and it was clean. We talked with some of the residents and they were very happy. They all seemed to be very happy there. All in all, it was a very positive experience. She needs some assistance. She has a necklace that she'll be wearing. Should she need help, she can just call for help with the necklace and I'm told they'll respond. They answered all my questions. They were responsive to my mother when I brought her over there. I went and saw them in person first and then I brought my mother back and they were very responsive to her. We weren't there at a time when food was being served. I got a copy of the menu that they have and looked that over with my mother. And it seemed that it would be more than adequate. The facilities are accessible to my mother, who's going to need mobility assistance. It was important to us that they had a walk-in shower because she's unable to get in and out of a typical tub or something like that. The rooms were very clean. And my mother, her words were, they're beautiful. So it was a very favorable response.

I toured Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. I liked the layout of the place. They had an interior courtyard with lots of plants so that the residents could be outside, but still in a secure, safe area where they couldn't wander away or anything like that. The rooms were nice. The staff seemed nice, too, and it looked like they had programs going on that people were partaking in. So, I just got a real positive impression of that facility.

I toured Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. It was a very positive experience. They were very receptive. They reached out as soon as I reached out to them. They returned all my calls, answered my questions, and met with me quickly once I inquired about getting a tour. I was greeted as soon as I got there. I was impressed by the facility itself. It was very clean and beautifully decorated and just a very pleasant calm Zen-like atmosphere. I toured the whole facility. The staff were just very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was just a very positive experience. I did not try any food, but the dining area looked very nice. I observed the recreation areas. The main lobby has a piano. I took a quick look at the garden outside, and it was nice. I toured the model apartment on the second floor, and it was very nice. There was adequate space. Based on the model, it looked like it would be comfortable.

My father has moved into Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. The community is open and welcoming. So far, he has no complaints. His room is good, and it's clean. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The dining area is very clean. They are on time and very helpful with making sure he has what he needs. The meals are kept on time, and the food is very good. They have exercises. They have painting. They have enrichment classes for mental, physical, cognitive, emotional, and those types of things. They have different levels of care as well. It's an older building, but they're working on renovating. My dad's room has recently been painted with new flooring and all of that in place. They're going to do additional renovations also. They're going to be putting a little kitchenette in each of the rooms because the rooms don't have this at all. They're going to be putting them in so people will have a place to put their microwave or their mini fridge. They'll have a sink to wash their coffee cups or whatever in them. So far, he hasn't really taken part in the activities, but they are available. I've seen other residents enjoying some activities. Value for money is pretty good.

I toured Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living. If somebody is looking for a more budget-friendly, that one is cheaper than the other ones. It was a nice facility. It was clean. I didn't think my dad would be happy there, but we have a friend that stays there, and he seems to be getting along fine. The staff who toured me around was very pleasant and very friendly. She answered all my questions and gave me the information I needed, so she was good. It is more affordable, and it seems like a decent place.

Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living was nice. That would be another option, but I just like the layout of the other facility a little bit better. The rooms I saw were very clean and very nice. The staff who took me around was great. She was awesome. Her name is Sarah. She was really good. The dining area was nice, but I didn't try the food. The dining area was restaurant style because they come to your table, take your order, and bring it to you. The facility itself was nice. They have a big front porch area, a back porch, and then some places inside to congregate, have classes, and so forth. They have all kind of activities like crafts things, they take trips, they go to movies and so forth. They try to keep them as busy as they want to be there. Of course, they don't have to attend anything, but there's always something available for them to do.

The staff at Sodalis Tallahassee Assisted Living was very friendly. The place was really clean, and the rooms were very spacious. The only downside is the fact that it's a nonsmoking facility. We saw the dining room and the menus. It was very nice. They had plenty of activities, a place for rehab, and a very nice community room with a fireplace in the middle and comfortable chairs. We saw a one-bedroom and it was very nice. They had a nice roll-in shower. You could roll in your wheelchair if you needed to. It was nice.

Elmcroft of Tallahassee was wonderful, and they're at the top of our list, but they don't allow smoking, and my sister-in-law smokes. They were very helpful over there. Valerie was amazing, I even wrote a review on her. The place was very homey. It looked like a place I would want someone like a relative or myself to go into at some point. They had the salon and I was very impressed with them.

I like the attentiveness at Elmcroft of Tallahassee. The people were really friendly and nice, and they answered the questions that we've asked. I like the layout of the place as well. It was assisted living so it didn't meet our needs. The staff who gave us a tour was very nice and very knowledgeable. She even suggested other places we could visit to meet our needs more.

I have been very pleased with the care that my mother has received while living at Elmcroft for the past year. The staff cares about her and keeps in close contact with me regarding her care. I would recommend Elmcroft in a heartbeat!

We’re basically happy with most of it. There are little things here and there but, for the most part, I’m pretty happy, and my mom is getting used to being there. She’s got one of the smaller rooms, which is good for her, with her own bathroom and all of that. They have a common living area for the rooms and what they call her neighborhood. They have about 4 different neighborhoods and for the rooms that are near her, they have a little living area with tables, chairs, a communal panty, a refrigerator, cupboards, and stuff with snacks and all that kind of good stuff, so I am pretty happy with it.

My mom has been here for a month now. The only problem we have is the shower; it does not drain and is not level, so the water stays in puddles, which concerns us. They have activities, but my mom doesn’t do anything. I haven’t eaten there but food seems fine, and my mom is doing fine with it. The atmosphere is fine for what it is. The staff is very friendly.

Overall this facility is Pretty good. The staff is pretty good, mostly friendly and helpful. Some staff members are wonderful my mom has had no complaints but others don't seem to really care about the residents. I have had several problems with medications not being given properly and think you must check on this frequently to make sure your parent is getting the proper medications and they are actually taking them. The food is good but there are not many options. One meal is offered and then basic options are available if you don't like the meal of the day.The safety pull cord in my mom's bathroom was not working and we found out when she needed help, pulled it and nobody came! Luckily I was there to visit and walked in to find her and called for help. I think they could use an update to the safety/security systems. The residents wear pendants that they can push for help as well but we have also experienced problems with this method. A variety of activities are offered each day but they don't differ much. Once a month a family brunch is offered which is very nice!

I think most of the staff that I hear about are wonderful. My Mother seems very happy there. She has asked to have pictures hung but she said they did one and then he was going to hang another where she wanted it but one of the helpers said no it should go here, which was a different place so needless to say the rest haven't been hung. I only wish didn't have the smallest room in the whole facility. She really enjoys the brain activities, and she said she is treated nice!

We are pleased with the care for our mother. All staff have gone out of their way to be helpful. Concerns: There is no cover for rain for passenger loading and unloading at the front of the facility. This is extremely dangerous while balancing the walker/wheelchair and the resident. There needs to be a cover over the cars and taxi cabs who enter the round about area. There is a step at the drop off area. This should be flat!!!! We have witnessed two wheelchair accidents because of the step. Most residents use either a walker or a wheelchair, it is imperative to have a flat surface at the drop off area. A number of family members have spoken to us about these two issues. We believe it is in the best interest of all residents to address the concerns.

I helped move my friend to this community last August. The place seemed to be clean and well managed. The staff seemed to be doing fine. The room is clean. It's all one bedroom. They offer full meal service, exercise, physical therapy and a lot more to the residents. I have no complaints about the facility. My friend seemed to enjoy there.
