"I toured Skyline Place. They're developing a new wing, and it was very nice. I liked the safety feature that they had there. They have a camera that would trigger an alarm if a client were to fall. Those were in the new wing for memory care. They showed me the new wing and it's all brand new. The rooms are very nice and roomy. They were nice apartments. The staff was very friendly. She offered me a beverage. She knows all the clients, which was very nice because sometimes you wonder if she knew the residents by name. They seemed to know her and I liked that. I did not try the meal. They showed me the menu and a private dining area for the family and if the family wanted to come and eat with the resident. The menu was nice. I was impressed with the food."

"The people at Foothill Village were very hospitable and very helpful and we certainly got the information we were looking for. We didn't stay for lunch, but they gave us a piece of chocolate cake that was very good. We met the chef, too. The dining area was very nice and very homey looking. The staff was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. The facility was very nice, very clean, and smelled very nice."

"We're choosing Meadow View Manor for my mother because it was like a home setting for her. There is a placement for 20 people. They have both single and double bedrooms, and they're very spacious. Each one has its own bathroom. It can be furnished or you can provide your own furniture, whichever you please. It's a residential home, so each room has its own TV. You can have your own phone in your own room. Just like in your home, you could watch TV programs that you enjoy. It has a living room or a living area with a very large TV, where everybody can sit together. The eating area is open space with the living room, and they have it dressed nicely with tablecloths and napkins. They cooked all the meals there, and it was extremely clean and very kept up. The outdoor arrangements have the decks that people could exit to from their rooms. They could go outside and sit down. There are lots of trees, flowers and potted plants. It was very beautiful, very calm, and nice for her. The only thing they're lacking is a program of activities. They have one person there at night who does all the laundry and tends to people's needs. They have overnight staff, and the owner of the residence lives right there in an apartment attached to the residence. If there's ever any emergencies or needs, she is right there available."

"My overall experience with Casa Viejos was good. The rooms were nice, we looked at the dining area, and it was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very caring. The value was very good, and it was closer to my sister. You need to call them first because nobody is watching the gate, and you cannot get in. "

"My mother was at Country Haven for almost 3 years...I was so thankful that when she went on Hospice she was allowed to stay at "home"....The caregivers have always been top notch and I can't give them enough praise for what they do every day...And all the extras like picking up her medications from the drug store and bringing her meals to her room were all included in the monthly rent...Thank You Country Haven!!! "
