I went to Ivy Park at Santa Monica. I like the friendliness of the staff. It was very well maintained. The guests seemed to be very happy and very friendly. Everything that was advertised was correct and I didn't feel it was exaggerated in any way. The staff who gave the tour was fabulous. She was amazing. However, the dining area was not as comfortable. It was a cafeteria than a dining room experience. They have transportation, but I don't remember if they have a salon. The only reason why I didn't consider it further is because of the price. The price is very high. A middle-income person wouldn't be able to handle it on just a pension. You would need to have either long-term care insurance or some sort of substantial savings to bridge the costs of your average pension.

We went here. We loved the staff. They seemed to be very responsive. At the time that we visited, they were a little more open, so we were able to tour the facility quite a bit. It's got wonderful grounds and a little garden or patio on two floors, so it was very, very nice. It was a big contender. The biggest drawback was the location. The staff was the reason that I decided that this was the right time to move mom into an assisted living. She really understood where I was coming from, and she was very, very supportive. If we live closer to Santa Monica, I would have chosen that one. I know they had a gameroom, a library, and small patios on some of the units, which would have been nice for mom.

It was very nice and clean. It seemed to be a top notch place. It looked like a 5-star hotel and very impressive. The rooms were small but nice, and the staff was very friendly. The amenities were good, and they had several different areas for several different activities.

My wife is staying here. The staff seemed sincere. The have something to do every morning and afternoon. The food seemed adequate. They have a beauty salon where you can get your nails and hair done.

I visited them. It’s fine; they play games. The room was a 1-bedroom, bright and it was all windows.

It is good. I like the fact that they are not just in California; they are also in Colorado and in many other states. We chose it because it is what my dad likes. It is like walking into a 5-star resort. The staff is very welcoming. They have too many activities to describe. They are pleasant, efficient, and welcoming.

It seemed to be a perfect fit and allowed the senior to have privacy and communication with others. It was very clean, and they were very friendly and seemed to really care. We saw the interaction as they were playing games, and it just seemed to be a perfect fit for my father in law

I went to Sunrise here. I talked to the manager who was very nice. I liked it a lot. I think it was nice and bright. They had an Alzheimer's unit, which made it very nice. The manager was delightful. I really liked him. Everybody I met was very friendly.

We also visited here. It wasn’t as nice as the other one we visited, but it was OK. The staff was fine. They were good and helpful. The dining room was fine, but we didn't try the food. They had activities and they were playing some kind of game.

The rooms here were very small. It was very well decorated. It seemed like a lot of extracurricular activities for the residents. I saw the dining room. It was very nice, but I didn’t eat there. It was a gentleman who took me around. He was very informative, very friendly, and very nice.

We had a meal here. The food was adequate, but the dining room was less elegant and was more industrial. The staff was all good and helpful. The place is not as elegant. The rooms were adequate. It's closer to the beach. It was fine and I liked it.

My dad has been here for five years and I go there all the time. They have a pretty high rating and they're a very nice facility. They seem to have the same type of arrangement as the others, where they take the people out when they need to visit things, have a dining room and recreational activities. They have a court at the center of the place where people can sit around and walk in a little park area, which is very nice.
