Washington Care is half assisted living and half nursing home. The rooms were a little small, the food was better than average, and the dining room seemed adequate. The people were helpful in a pinch. They have two small parking lots, and they need an automatic door. The physical therapy staff was excellent, but they were a little slow for calling to the bedside.

My friend’s mother was at Washington Care and Rehab Center. She had the recommendations, so I put my mother there. The staff was very nice. The rooms are adequate. She has a roommate. She likes it there. She eats in her room. She eats the food, so I guess it’s alright. What she likes to do is go play the bingo. They have that 3 days a week.

My sisters and I look forward to visiting our Mom here each week and are quite satisfied with the care, attention and activities that are available to her. It did take some time for my Mom to adjust living here (about 6 mths.), since she was living in her own home and on her own her whole life. She's now friends with the friendly staff and has been enjoying the parties and activities here.
