We chose Iris Care Home for my stepdad because they only have eight people there. It's very nice and I'm impressed with the way it's set up. Somebody is right there and she does the house cleaning. The people who own it live upstairs and they hire nurses who are there during the day and on weekends. The rooms are a nice large bedroom, and the bathroom is just right outside the door. They have a big large entertainment room with a wide-screen TV and a large sectional couch. It's just like a regular living room, and not like a doctor's office or hospital waiting area. The food looked good the couple of times I was there during my stepdad's meal time. Their price is comparable and they cover more than what the other places would charge.

Iris Care Home is great. We live close, so it’s fine. It’s a small place with only six residents. They have a staff who really takes care of them, and we really like the owner. We liked the house. They have a regular dining table where they serve three home-cooked meals a day, and they really like the food. They watch TV and work with the staff sometimes, but they don’t have a lot of activities. It’s a locked down home. We’re really pleased with it.
