My father is currently at Manning Gardens Care Center Inc. The picture itself is very deceiving to the facility itself. It's very run down and very dirty. My father has been in there and there's been a huge cobweb up in the corner. And I've said something about it but nothing has been done. I have told them that I want him to get out more, and they mainly have him staying in bed. The therapist said that he would try to get him to stay up every day and was supposed to be working at least five days a week. I don't know personally if that's happening or not, but he's not really getting very far with the therapy. I liked for them to be more persistent. It looks like the carpet's probably from the 1970s. It's never probably been changed. There's a strong language barrier, so it's really hard to understand, and I have to ask them to repeat it at least four to five times for me to understand. He's in a shared room with three people in it, and he's by the window. Every time we've gone to go see him they have the window open. We're just afraid he will get pneumonia again. They do have a room that they call their kitchen area that has a TV, and I guess they do bingo and do stuff like that there. But he's mainly been in his bedroom and he just does physical therapy when they come in to work with him. The food has been pretty decent.
