We did a full tour of Golden Castle Assisted Living and checked it out, and it was awful. People were just laying around, coming and going, and it just looked like a place for someone to sleep. All they were doing was hanging around and lying in their rooms basically. The rooms looked like rooms where everybody had another person in there, like you might share a shower. One room has two twin beds. The staff was real nice to us. They told us they do meals, but it just looked like a homeless center.

The place is walking distance to all famous stores and fast food restaurants. Nice area.

Golden Castle was a horrid place. It was very cheap but it smelled like pee. It was very shabby and ill kept. This place was dirty in fact. The staff there was nice. However, I would not recommend this place to others. They need to improve on the overall atmosphere.
