I was in Bay view Rehabilitation Hospital LLC for rehab. They took care of me very well. It's just that I didn't like the idea of being in any one place, but it's going to be like that for me for the rest of my life. I'm bedbound now, and considering the fact that I was bed down, they certainly did take good care of me. They had physical therapists, occupational therapists, they would get me up and into my chair each day, and that was really appreciated a great deal. Food is not that important. The food was well presented, on time, it was always dependable, tasted well, and looked good as far as its presentation is concerned. I was remembering the physical therapist and occupational therapist, they were particularly good in helping me up into the chair each day. We didn't do too much as far as physical therapy is concerned, but they could see what I could do and what I couldn't do, and they could see as far as eating is concerned, they could see how well I could use my hands. So that was pretty much it as far as the therapists are concerned. They do have some activities, and they had an activities director. I put him off, but he was available to me, and he did provide me with some things. He did provide me with some magazines and even the option of having a TV brought in for special movies, so they had some options for me. It is free to us veterans. I've been there twice already.

This facility was for my Aunty who needed rehab after she was admitted into the hospital. She was there for several weeks before she was safe enough to go home. The staff were able to get her home care, home health therapy, and a meal service. The care was excellent and comprehensive. Thanks Paki.
