"My mom is here. I have never been in it, but I saw my mom twice and she looked good. She was clean and well cared for. Supposedly they have activities, but I don't know what they are. My mom has dementia so everything is wonderful. She thinks the food is good in her opinion. In her state of mind, the food is good. The staff all seems to be good."

"Last time I was there the room was not clean.spider webs and spider eggs around the inside of the window. Laura was the best. She really cared. She went far above her job to care for my friend. I wish I could remember the name of a couple other people there with the same attitude. I hope they’re still there. "

"We've moved my mother to The Pines at Grove Manor. The staff is very helpful, the facility was very clean, open, and welcoming. It's a very nice facility. The room that we saw, I wouldn't call it spacious, but it's adequate. There's enough space for her bed, she's in double occupancy, and the rooms are clean and spacious. They have a beauty salon, and crafts room, there's got a chapel there, they offer more stuff for the patients to do. They've got a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, and a speech therapist on staff. They've also got a gym where they do physical therapy in the facility. They have several patios, and a couple of them have like water sprays and bird feeders. There are one or two covered patios so that you can sit even if it's raining outside. The staff answered all of my questions."

"Newhaven Court at Clearview was a wonderful experience for my grandfather. The facility was very clean and offered many activities. Our personal favorite was when Newhaven opened the doors for trick or treat, my girls loved it. The staff is great and very accommodating. I would highly recommend."

"I am a resident of Lowrie Place. The food is good. Everybody has a private room and that's what I like. As for the value, it's way overpriced. My room has a normal size for one person."

"Carriage Court (Formerly Carriage Manor) is really nice. My mother's accommodations look like a regular bedroom. They have church twice on Sundays, and the laundry is included with the fee. The dining area is nice, big, homey, and has regular tables. The food is really good."

"My husband is in Haven Convalescent Home. I'm very pleased with it. They're short-staffed, but they are doing it. My husband is receiving excellent care. The rooms are clean and taken care of. I really have no complaints. Their staff are actually working extra to help get through this. If you ask for something, you may wait a few extra minutes because of being short staffed, but you get what you need. I have no complaints. The place is clean. The grounds are very nice outside. They have areas for the patients and the family to visit outside with shelter away from the sun. They have tables, and they have bird feeders for the patients to watch the birds. The parking lot is kept clear, and the sidewalks are kept clear. They do a fantastic job. They decorate for each holiday. The patients receive gifts for each holiday. I would recommend it highly. It is a small facility. It is not a really big facility, but I have come across no staff that I do not see compassionate and caring. They have a very caring and compassionate staff, and the owner sees to that. My husband has no complaints with the food. He eats well. They have a big lunch, a small dinner, a snack, and breakfast. They can basically get a snack anytime they ask, and they can get something to drink anytime they ask. The food is quite adequate. If they don't like what they get, they will gladly give them something else. I'm just glad that's where my husband is at. It's convenient for me. He is clean, and he is well groomed. I'm happy he is there, not that I want him in a nursing, but I'm glad that's where he is at."

"The best part of the facility is the food. I find the dietary staff is always accommodating when we visit mom. The food is excellent quality and superb service. Overall I’m very pleased with the care but I feel the activities available are lacking. Thank you to all the staff at shenango on the green. "

"My father moved into Rhodes Estates. I chose it because my best friend had her grandmother there, so I have an inside personal opinion of the place. I like the fact that there's just a small clientele, only 15 residents. The thing I don't like about it is that the common living areas are small, but that's just for me. I understand that they do keep them very close-knit. They need that closeness and security. So, for a memory care resident, that's quite perfect. My father is in a companion room. He essentially has his own room, but in between the two rooms is a shared bathroom. They have music and dance classes. They have game days, and they eat together in the dining room. The staff has been great. The facility is very well-maintained and clean."

"My husband is in Quality Life Services - New Castle. It was an emergency situation, and that was the only place that could take him. He's only been there for two weeks. With COVID, everything is shut down, and I couldn't see him, but so far, so good. I've been talking on the phone with the nurses and the case manager. When I talk to them on the phone, they're friendly and nice, and they will put him on the phone sometimes. I talked to him, and his family called and talked to him. He said the food is good. I don't have any complaints right now. The outside is clean, and they're actually doing work on it right now, so there is some construction going on."

"My uncle was a resident of Clen-Moore Place. He had one good week there, and then he got Covid. As far as that goes, they don't treat Covid. They don't take any precautions for Covid. I just was flabbergasted about that. The second week he got Covid, he didn't have any medication or treatment and was deathly sick until he died. As far as the place goes, it's beautiful. It's clean. The staff is great, but I don't understand why they don't take precautions for Covid. The staff was friendly and they're very nice. I guess they're just following protocol about Covid, but in the meantime, they pulled my uncle out of bed and said, get to the dining room. There's been a lot of deaths there in the last couple of weeks since my uncle died. I never eat there, but according to my uncle, it was horrible. They have like a little park in the middle there. They played games with them and bingo. They have live music there a lot, and treats and picnics. They did a lot. For the value, it was ridiculously expensive. With Covid being getting bad again, I think they need to do something about that."
