"I would give New Seasons a high score. Liz did a fabulous job and I had a great tour. They showed me around, talked to different people, and it was nice. I liked the facility very much although it was a good distance away from where my dad is right now. The rooms were nice and bright, the residents seemed happy, and they had some activities going on. "

"The quality and cleanliness of this facility is actually remarkable. A family member of ours needed to by at an assisted living home for four months. When we started to search a home for the many of the location we visited were very depressing, smelled, and had terrible workers. At this facility all of the workers were very upbeat, caring, and knew everything about every individual staying there. The head nurse is professional, caring, and very down to earth. When we took our family member out many of the caretakers hugged her goodbye and wished her the best of luck. The rooms there were fairly basic but had very nice bathrooms. The activity and TV rooms were very high quality. This location was a prime example showing you get what you pay for. The only thing I could think of that was remotely negative was the janitorial staff spoke a little inappropriately around each other. I can say they were never mean to any of the individuals living there though. Overall I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area. "

"Penn Assisted Care was nice, the people there were very nice, and it was very clean. It was small, a little cramped, but it seemed like a family. It's very homey. They have a porch, they hang out there, and they go to the movies. "

"Mom is in Silver Springs at East Norriton, and it is very good. The thing I like the best are the people that work there, the nurses, the staff, and the CNAs. Hospice comes to take care of her at the facility. The food is definitely above average. The windows are old, but the care is what's important. They had live music, a movie theater, and bingo. They hit a ball over a net with a balloon you put in the pool. They had art classes. Value for money is excellent. The size of the rooms and the layout are wonderful."

"We went to Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting. We looked there at the two-bedroom, two-bath. It was very nice. The place was set up like a main street town, which was really very nice. You walk in one area and it looks like they have a general store, a bistro, a theater, and private dining room for families. They have a game room on the Main Street. It was very cleverly decorated. They have a salon and spa, they have yoga and exercises, and they have lecture rooms where they have different topics brought in. The two-bedroom has a full kitchen. The staff was very pleasant and professional."

"It seemed like a caring place with plenty of activities. The staff was very nice. We toured the entire facility and saw more than one room. "

"My mother is in memory care at The Solana Doylestown. It is secured. The staff is very helpful and very courteous. They're very accommodating. The place is outstanding. It looks like a vacation resort. They take them on bus trips. They just had a car show last weekend. It is very nice. They have a library and a beauty salon. It's beautiful."

"My sister moved up to Phoebe Richland Community. It was very welcoming. They gave her all the physical therapy she could handle, which was great. She had physical therapy almost every day and occupational therapy almost every day when she got there. She still gets it quite frequently. The staff is very nice. She enjoys the other residents there. She says she has a wonderful time getting to know them and they're very caring also. I was there one Saturday when the director himself was helping someone move into their memory care area. He was moving the clothing and stuff in himself on a Saturday. They're just delightful. There's an exercise class of some kind every morning, wheelchair volleyball, chair, or tai-chi. There's at least one activity every morning and one or two activities every afternoon. Every day I call or when I talk to my sister, she'll say, "Oh yes, we had an exercise this morning." It's a smaller place, so they can't offer the diversity of activities that a larger facility might offer. The assisted living has a beautiful lounge area when you walk in. The dining room is lovely. You couldn't ask for anything better. I get no complaints from my sister except there's no salt, but she can bring some herself. That's for health reasons. I saw two small library reading areas, a game room, a big lounge, and a dining room. She's in a temporary room right now because there were no rooms available, so it's a little small but very nice and furnished. It has a dresser, a wardrobe, a chair, a bed, a little kitchenette, and a beautiful bathroom that's handicapped accessible. It is less expensive than others for definitely something better. Their staff is especially caring. This place is much more consistent with their staffing, which means the staff gets to know their people better."

"My mom is in here since September and it's been great! For my mom's level, it is a perfect place for her. It is not overwhelming not like those huge complexes. The staff is very caring and nice. They know everybody by name and they are very attentive. Her apartment is very nice. She has a living area, a bedroom, a nice size bathroom and she's very comfortable there. It is really cozy and she really likes it a lot. She said the food is good. There is a lot for her to do. She likes doing crafts like making jewelry, she does painting, she plays bingo, bowling and participates in music. Singers like Frank Sinatra come in. She is socializing more and they do a good job in trying to involve the family too. They have brunches for the family to come out and visit. My mom has also been in a couple of dinners where they take them out to dinners. Overall, we are very happy with them."

"I toured Echo Lake. The staff was attentive and willing to talk about my friend's needs and discuss some changes that we recommended. It was a lovely place. It was very open and welcoming. They did provide the chopped diet that she needed. It's a beautiful facility. They have exercise plans and physical therapy."

"We toured Springfield Senior Living. We chose them because the price was within her budget and seemed like a nice place. We also got a good recommendation from a friend about it. The staff are very polite and friendly. The space was very clean and looked comfortable. We looked at a studio, which looked decent for a studio apartment. The dining area was nice, neat, and comfortable, and the parking was good."

"I toured Daylesford Crossing. It's a wonderful place, with wonderful people and very modern-looking rooms. The staff knows every resident by name, so everybody is on a first-name basis. They took me to their physical therapy room and event room. They were doing some events when I got there. They were having a magic show. They didn't have the level of care that my parents needed, but it was one of the top ones that we liked. They had a very small library. They had someone come once a week to do hair and nails. The gym was the physical therapy room, so it was a smaller room. It was more like an apartment building."

"Amity Place took very good care of my father. He never complained about the place and the food. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were very nice. They were just the right size and they always kept cleaning. The staff always took care of him. Even when he was bedridden, they made sure he was shaved and made sure that he was cleaned. They just did a very good job. We took him on Valentine's Day and when we got there, they were having a little Valentine's Day party in the community area. They also had a St. Patty's Day party, and a Mother's day tea, and on Fridays, they have a church service in the community area that everybody can take part in. So, something is going on almost all the time."

"My family member lives here and loves it. They are willing to talk to her and food is great."
