"The Kensington was a nice assisted-living center where my grandfather currently lives. We chose this place for his new home as it is close to our family and as a chile he stayed there back when it was a hotel. Overall our experience the past few years has been quite positive, the staff and the facilities are very welcoming and it is a place I would recommend for anyone to visit. The small town of Hastings is very accommodating and the daily shuttle service to attractions around town certainly helps. "

"I thought Bickford of Grand Island was pretty nice if you need that sort of facility. It's something to think about for the future, but it would be a long way down. It is very, very comfortable. The people were very friendly. It was a very nice facility. It probably would fit our needs if we needed that. The people were very friendly and very courteous. The person who toured us around answered any questions we had and then showed us whatever we needed to look at."

"My tour at Lebensraum Assisted Living was wonderful. It was a great visit. The ladies that helped me were very amazing. One lady was the manager, and the other was the assistant manager. They were great. They gave me the rundown of what the costs would be and showed me two different kinds of rooms that were available. The staff was very caring, very knowledgeable, and made sure to ask me if I had any questions. They just were very good. Their meals are cooked there every day. They said that we could bring in a little refrigerator. The room just had the bathroom and one big room. They also have a courtyard."

"My good friend and neighbor moved into College View about 4 years ago after her husband had passed away. Though she was alright at home she ultimately knew that moving was in her best interest. Her apartment was spacious, she had a microwave and full size refrigerator which was great for the wine! The personal shopper service was a great bonus although she still managed to go shopping every week. Before covid, trips were offered and she always had a ride to her doctors appointments, which helped make the decision to sell her vehicle easier. A few of us would come to the monthly entertainment and card events. She was a great cook and truly missed being able to cook her pies and fried chicken but despite that she was happy with the food. I think her favorite thing about living at College View was the people, she talked about them like they were family. After knowing her for 50+ years, it warmed my heart that she loved so many of the employees. She met several new friends while living there and was reacquainted with classmates. After her passing this past fall I find myself grateful she was able to live at College View those last years and I know her daughter feels the same. "

"Harvard House Assisted Living is very clean, very organized, and a very good place. It's just a spectacular place, and they do a good job on the work they do. The staff members are wonderful and good people. My apartment is very sizable, kept clean, very clean, everything is up-to-date and fixed when it needs fixing. It's 100%. The food is most excellent."

"We are choosing Tabitha at Prairie Commons for my mother. I just was impressed with the people that were working there and the care that they could provide. I was also impressed with all of the facilities that she would have. The rooms were very nice. There were several different sizes. I think there are three sizes for each room. They've got a washer/dryer, and all the appliances - stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. It was just very convenient. They brought a plate to my mom's home for her to try the food, and she said that it was very good. I'm a little burned out because of the delay in the opening. They haven't got a date yet to open, and it's been kind of tough."
