We toured Good Samaritan Society - Grand Island Village. It was a very nice tour. It was great, but it was pretty pricey. The staff who gave me the tour were very good. They were great. It was all great, but the price. They have duplexes, and they were wonderful. They're new and very nice. It's one floor, and it had everything you need. They take care of all the outside maintenance. We would have to pay for the internet, but it had a TV. All of the utilities are covered except for the phone. They also have a scheduled bus, so you could go places on the bus. At the main building, they have some activities such as a church service, cards, games, puzzles, and that sort of thing.

I was in Good Samaritan Society, but it was not good. For the first three years, it was marvelous. Then they began to care less about the people that live there. It was no longer a home. It became a corporation. What we wanted and what we liked was not addressed. I left because there was so much political stuff going on that it was just not a comfortable place to be anymore. I would never recommend it. The rooms were nice, but the food was awful.
