"Sunrise Assisted Living in La Costa is a beautiful facility, inside and out, that provides great care and many amenities to their residence and their family members. The staff such as the of caregivers, medtechs, and nurses comes together to provide the help requested by residents and their family members. At Sunrise their are many daily activities (arts&crafts, aerobics, spanish classes) along with trips around town every other week. The kitchen, known for the awesome chef, serves three meals a day which the residents can take to their room or join other residents in the dining room and provides a private dining room for special occasions. "

"Hillside Garden II was very clean, professional, and very safe. The staff was attentive, kind, patient, and very understanding of the situation. They were not pushy. It was a residential board and care home with four bedrooms that were remodeled to accommodate wheelchairs and hospital beds. It just wasn't exactly what we needed at this time."

"My first impression of the facility was that it was kept in pristine condition. The whole facility was upscale and very clean, I visited around lunch time and a caretaker was preparing a stove cooked lunch. I would recommend taking a look at this facility to anyone. "

"We toured Belmont Village La Jolla. They were nice. It's too expensive and too much of a commute for my brother. They had activities. The food was great. They had a courtyard. They had views. They had all kinds of interactions with the residents. They had outings for the residents. They were just wonderful. The rooms were big and spacious, and the studios were wonderful."

"I was very impressed by this facility. It was a Hyatt hotel before it was turned into an elderly-care / assisted living home, which most definitely steps it up a few notches above any type of nursing home. Although the food for my client was called a "therapeutic diet" - it looked more like an extravagant restaurant meal. They brought up a huge plate of food for lunch with tea and water for my client to drink. It smelled amazing, and my client said that it tasted fabulous, and always did. The only thing that I could mention about this facility is that more handicapped accessible tubs and showers should be used so that the client wouldn't have trouble getting in and out of the bath. Other than that, it was amazing. "

"What I liked about Silvergate Rancho Bernardo was that many things are included in the price of rent. I'm in a senior community now and I have to pay separately for several things, but there, they're included. They also have more activities. They have a wonderful art room that I will enjoy. We ate in their dining room which had tablecloths for lunch and it was lovely. I had a shrimp cocktail with the largest shrimp I've ever seen in my life. I had a sandwich and yam fries for lunch. Dessert was Pistachio gelato. I thought I was in heaven. I went to five communities and it was the best."

"I went to La Marea Senior Living. It was lovely. It was brand new. The staff was quite informative, very helpful, and very lovely. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He was also very helpful with letting me know that he was there if I had any further questions or if I wanted to take another tour. He did follow up to ask how everything was and how it went. Everything was great. It's a very nice facility. He was very good, very informative, and knowledgeable of the new facility there. Maintenance and upkeep are very good because they've only been open seven weeks, so it's very new, and it's not too full capacity-wise. There are a very limited number of residents there because of how new it is, so it was very clean. Everything was good. There wasn't much going on at the time I was there. There were only five residents in the memory care, so there wasn't a whole lot going on. The staff did show where activities happen, and he explained everything about the whole community."
