"We're very pleased so far with Carriage House on West Garden, and we're paying $3100 a month. Everything is very nice. They are doing everything they can to make my mother comfortable. She is not easy, and they are certainly trying very hard. She is also with hospice. They have added on a whole new wing. "

"My husband and I went about two weeks ago, and we liked what we saw. The people seemed very nice. And, it is very close, so we are happy. This is where we are going to be putting my mom, and it is called the Webb's Home. New owners just took over, so they jumped into doing renovations. They're putting in new carpeting and painting, and they've got plenty of bathrooms. They were really big and wide with showers in it. They provide three meals a day and snacks. They have two living rooms with TV's, and they have monitors all over the walls. They monitor all the hallways and the living area, and I liked that. There is an area on the side of the house with all chairs and stuff and a little grass area. At night, they light pretty torches, and they could sit out there if they want. The owners were right on the property there, and sometimes they would do barbecues on the weekend. The rooms seemed clean, big, and comfortable, and they came with TV's in them. The owners seemed like very nice people, so we were talking to them a lot while they were taking us on the tour. They seemed like they really care about the people, and it was clean. We live in the next town over, so it is very convenient. And, it was very reasonably priced too; it was $90 a day. "

"To me, BeeHive Homes of Snowflake is absolutely perfect. The building is newer. The rooms are freshly painted, and each resident has their own bathroom, which is really great. I wouldn't mind staying there myself. My dad is in the memory care, and the staff are just excellent. The first time my wife and I visited there, we went unannounced for a tour. They just did a really good job on the tour. The pricing was great as well. It started at $4,250. They said that the most it would go up to (at the time) was $5,000, but they haven't raised it. I keep expecting it to go up every month (with the inflation), but it hasn't gone up yet."

"Mom chose Solterra At White Mountains because it felt more like an apartment building and it was homey. There weren't a lot of activities going on in the lobby, and she wanted that kind of quieter atmosphere. Her apartment has everything she needs except for a microwave. It's like a 2-bedroom but the other bedroom doesn't have a closet, so they refer to it as a 1-bedroom with a den. The whole layout is very spacious. The kitchen is big, it has a dining room, and it's 980 square feet. The staff is very, very caring and friendly. They are top-notch. Anything she needs like when there was a leak, they're there within half an hour. When she arrived, they made sure that the residents knew that there was somebody new coming in and they welcomed her. Several residents came up to her and introduced themselves. Everybody went out of their way to be just very welcoming and friendly. Mom did not get their meal plan, but she could always go down to the dining area and order what she wanted, and pay for it. She said the food is very good. One thing I liked about this community is they went to my mom's apartment and invited her to come to Oktoberfest. They had some music, German appetizers, beer or wine, and the staff was all dressed up. They made it very festive. They have a whole lot of activities daily too like bingo, bowling, massages, walking, dancing, outings, casinos, movies, and restaurants. They gave each resident a smartwatch, so they can track wherever they are. If they stay idle in one place for too long, the staff can go check on them. The residents can press it once and it gives them the time, the date, the temperature, and the battery life. If you hold it down for around 3 seconds, that sends a message that you need help. And they didn't charge us extra for that. I have not seen it in any of the other senior places that I looked at."

"This place is amazing. It is a hard decision To make for a loved one when it comes to assisted-living. This facility by far always had clean rooms, good food, attentive to their patient and created a family environment. The staff there care about the patients, And they care about the patient’s family as well. They have been supportive and kept me and my family involved through the whole process with communication. I am lucky to know that they took care of my loved one, and took such good care of my loved one. If I had to make that decision again, without a doubt, I would do everything I could to get the person that I love into Angel Wings so they could be cared for with love."
