This is day one. Getting to day one is a long road. My wife is an Alzheimer's patient. I am very happy thus far. The buildings are deceiving but the staff thus far has been great. I will be up dating this post as I go along. I hope to relieve some of the fears we all share. I know I have plenty.

Architecturally, I wasn't overly impressed with BeeHive Homes of Yuma. It's basically a large house, and there's a front and a back building. My mother-in-law is there because of the care level that she was able to get at the price we were able to get it. The staff has been fantastic. They're very easy to get along with and very helpful. She loves the food, and they're very generous with it. They offer us food when we come to visit. They have a number of activities, and she does the exercises that they do every day. We set up a garden for her. They need to work on their building maintenance and appearance. The cleanliness is pretty good.

The owner and staff at BeeHive is awesome! Our parents live there and are treated with love and kindness every day. They have a nice, clean room and their every need is fully attended to quickly. The residents are happy and friendly and the staff goes above and beyond in every way. They CARE. Families are encouraged to participate in celebrations and we have enjoyed a wonderful Easter party, Mother's Day luncheon and Birthday party for our Dad since they have lived there. Thank you!

This facility is under new ownership and although not much information was obtained or questions answered when scarol visited the facility the staff is wonderful with the residents and give much care and love. It may have been a bad day as many times they are facing death or serious illness and it may have been a day like that.

I visited both facilities, facilities are nice and clean but the staff is not friendly specially the ones on charge or the managers, and not very helpful when asking questions . I would not recommend neither one .

Bee Hive Homes was nice. The problem we had with it was that it was smaller, and they had a waiting list. We did not really get much of a tour. The rooms seemed very nice. They had a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

I visited Beehive Homes. They were excellent. They had private rooms with private half bath, and they were very nice. They would have been my first choice because the house was built for assisted living. Their hallways were very spacious and really nice. They had really nice setup and people. It was very clean. The only problem was they didn't take state insurance and my dad has Medicaid. They would take him as private pay and when he runs out of money and went on the state aid they wouldn't have to leave. However, you can't go in being on state aid. I would definitely recommend them to others.
