I placed my parents at Sun Haven South, and they're adjusting just fine. It's a smaller facility, like a house with different rooms, a large, open living area, kitchen, and dining room, in a group-type setting. They have 15 rooms available there. It's very clean and very well run. The staff is caring, welcoming, and the people seemed to be well taken care of and happy.

We toured Sunhaven Assisted Living - South. I found their kitchen very unacceptable. It was small, very cluttered, and the floors looked disgusting. There was no interaction between residents, and it was very depressing. It was very old, the furniture was broken, sagging in the common area, and it just wasn't somewhere I would place my family member. However, the staff was fine.
