My father resided here, against my siblings and my trying to get him to go elsewhere. At first they were attentive, though they are all women, my dad at the time was 6'3 200 plus pounds and needed assistance with transferring, showering, moving ect and exercise. Women are not fit for this. My dad also had a dr order for a soft food diet. I saw some one post that the meals are home cooked, though on occassion they served my dad a peanut butter sandwich and potatoe chips. He refused to eat it and the owner then asked what he would like/ Excuse me,,,, please know your residents and needs and have proper food / options available. He chose to stay. He passed away in the home, cause accidental choking. Wonder what they fed him . Any --way yes I am upset. still grieving, again it was his decision to stay. As far as activities, not once did I observe them providing activity to the residents. As well, my dad had the master bedroom, with one of the workers living in the closet. Is this typical? Again, he allowed. I can't go back and change anything. To the owners, I would say, maybe going forward, if a male 6'3 over 200 lbs comes to look at possibly staying, have the integrity to realize you are not equipped and suggest they look for a different facility. They will get better care for their needs.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Owners and Staff is very caring and patient with my mother. More than I could be. My mother has been here a year and I can say this place is a blessing all the way around!!

We have chosen here and my mother is moving in tomorrow. It's a very clean and very open facility. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. You can tell that it's very well run. They have multiple rooms. Some are single private rooms, and some are double rooms that are a little bit larger. The only one that has its own bathroom is the master room. They have like a couple living in it and they have their own bathroom. There are two other handicapped bathrooms that are used for the rest of the residents. At this point, they had just eight people and I think there are seven rooms total. We're taking a private room and it was a very nice setup with a single hospital bed, a recliner, a window, a closet, a TV, a dresser, and a nightstand. It's a very nice set-up. We did not try their meals, although the owner did tell us that they make all home-cooked meals fresh, nothing like TV dinners or anything.
