I had a full tour at Villas by Mary T of Casa Grande. They were very nice people. They have garages and laundry rooms. It's an independent living, so you more or less have to be able to do things for yourself. They do have somebody that is there to do the maintenance like change light bulbs and stuff if you need to. I specifically asked about that because I can't climb and I fall quite easily, so if there's something that has to be done around the house, they'll come and do it. It starts with a one-bedroom, and it goes up to a two-bedroom plus a den, and everyone has a garage. It's a one-car garage. They have laundry space. It all depends on your income. The one-bedroom is relatively small, but the waiting list for that one, I think, is seven years at that level. They have a center for meetings, for parties and stuff, and they have a pool, and you can have a pet up to 50 pounds on the dog. They're very cute and well taken care of from what I can see. The landscaping is gorgeous. Everybody seems to be very friendly. Mail is delivered to the center. The other thing is they participate with the Casa Grande Police Department. They'll put a black box with a key on the door. The police department calls once a day to check and see how you are. Like I have a Life Alert, and they would give out the lockbox code to Life Alert when Life Alert called so that they could get somebody in. The people that I spoke with were very nice and caring. I believe they both work and live in the village. The one lady that I spoke with, one of the managers, she's there with her daughter, and they have a place there. She's got a handicapped daughter that needs special assistance, so she's there. They have 24-hour phone lines as far as maintenance and emergencies go. The office people are there during the day. They were quite willing to take us around and show us the model that they have out, which is a two-bedroom-one-bath. It's not huge, but it's adequate and very, very nice. Most of the villas have been converted from rugs to industrial vinyl in a wood pattern, and it's very pretty. They have all the appliances that you would normally expect. You can access the garage from your unit, and they have a patio. They don't have meals, and everybody is independent as far as that's concerned. Aside from the pool and walking trails and things, I don't know of other amenities that they have. They have an agreement with the local dog park, so if you have a dog, you can take it to the park. The staff was very pleasant, very nice, and quite forthcoming. You have some questions, they got an answer. What I saw of the facility was very nice. It was very tidy, and everything looked perfect.
