The Gardens have been a wonderful, caring facility for our mother. The staff all care deeply for the residents, and provide excellent service for all of those in their community. There are varied activities for the differing skills and abilities of all the members of the community. All members are encouraged to participate in all the activities. The food has always been excellent, with the family meals being exceptional.

‘This facility is clean, the staff is attentive and The resident count is small. All rooms are private. My mother in law resides here. She is happy with numerous activities. Before the pandemic family is always welcome. Thankful there have been no COVID cases with the residents.

This facility tries very hard but is understaffed. One person on the night shift meets state requirements but makes residents and families a bit nervous. The workers there are always very good to my mother and are willing to do anything they can. This is a rural area so it is hard to staff but paying more might help keep good employees. Changing Staff is frustrating for residents. Covid has made this worse I know but they need to be paid more! Meal qualities varies with a lot of high carb meals. But they are not required to provide a diabetic diet etc. Before the virus I would stay 2-3 days at a time every month with my mom so I get the big picture. Parking lot needs more attention and the accessibility to the building is very poor. There is no entrance that is covered from the elements to get your family members to a car. But my mother is well cared for, is happy here and is central to all family. I appreciate everything they have done to keep the residents safe and entertained during these times but bring back Hallmark channel for goodness sake! They don’t have a lot to do besides watching TV! My mom gets her hair fixed every week and is always neat, clean and well dressed. She is assisted with her showers. The activities director works very hard to keep them active and does much much more for them. FB pictures are a welcome daily event which helps family keep up with what their loved ones are doing. I might sound slightly negative but these are things that many places struggle with. Community support of the Gardens is exceptional due to the administrator’s efforts.

This facility is large enough for great services but small enough to be personable. The rooms are great, large dining and family living area. It is located in a quite country setting but close to town, stores, doctors and hospital. The staff is very friendly and loving to the residents. The dining is great and your always welcome to join your loved one. The residents are always busy with fun activities.

The staff of The Gardens appear to know each resident on a personal level and they truly seem to enjoy spending time with their residents. I would have a peace of mind knowing that my family member stays in the gardens.

My visit to Gardens of Clanton was good. It was kind of homey and had a good environment. The person who toured me was very friendly and informative. The staff led the activities for the day, which was good. That morning, they did an exercise routine, and later that afternoon, they were going to a strawberry patch.

My father has been a resident at the Gardens for almost a year. Started out a little rocky, but expected as he adjusted to a new normal. Could not ask for more caring people to look after my dad. Janice, Beverly, Linda and Vicki are tops in my book. Would rate 5 stars if the food was a little better.

I feel very happy and satisfied to be here. The staff is made up of very caring people. They are always polite and willing to do whatever needs help with. Since I am not able to cook for myself, it's good to have my meals prepares, and the food is good.
