My mother is currently a client of At Home Companions. We are very pleased with the staff that they have provided during our recent hospital discharge. My mother lives by herself and I live in Florida. At home has helped in every way. They are my eyes and ears when I'm not there. I shopped several companies on this site and went with another before I found At Home Companions but found the companies claimed they were in Mckinney but they could not staff my mother when the time came. My advice go with a company in the same town as your family member. The company I went with was out of Carrolloton and when the employee didn't show up to the first shift it took 4 hours for them to get someone else out at that point we didn't need them. I had a situation with At Home Companions where I didn't realize it at the time but gave the wrong start time for my mother's shift. I made the call to explain my frustrations while I was on the phone with the office I had Aaron the director show up until we could figure things out. I looked at my date book and realized my mistake. They are a great company and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
