    I regret we went with Kindred Hospice Nashville for my husband with ALZ. We were assigned a nurse, GiGi, that was totally irresponsible. While family & other staff brought to her attention many signs that he was transitioning, with only hours to live, she would not accept it. Within 60 hours of his death, she was ordering lots of meds saying he was just ‘ill’ when he needed to be on morphine for pain. She should be working ONLY with the living not the dying. She never understood her role! Within hours of his death, I requested a new nurse (Sam) to offer support/guidance & comfort to my husband. Sam was the best. I regret I didn’t ask for another nurse sooner.

    My husband was home 6 days with hospice care. The care was so disorganized. Three nurses came out, and they were disorganized. We had a tech come out 5 days a week to bathe my husband. I listened to his death rattle the last night of his life. He went 13 hours without pain medicine. Horrible. He had mucus coming out of his mouth minutes before he died. It was horrible. No one explains his death to me. Horrible experience.

    I am a current client of this provider

    I'm using Kindred Hospice, and the care is excellent. They are all nice, professional, and take care of everything and make sure that I have enough of everything I need. I can't imagine being treated any nicer. They were recommended to me. They provide nursing care, and if I have a medical question, I call my nurse and she will explain it to me. I had kidney failure two weeks ago and had to be admitted to the hospital, and they came up to see me there.

    I'm a present client going through end stage breast cancer. The level of services I have received so far have exceeded my expectations. The Gentiva staff has helped me make the most of the life I have left. For that my family and I will be forever grateful.

    My mother-in-law went for a hospice care and we choose Gentiva and they were really good. She passed away last month. They went above and beyond what we expected and they were very supportive all the way. The minister that was assigned to her actually came to her funeral. They are just awesome.
