I am a current client of this provider

I'm at home, and I have a home healthcare person who comes in. They're from Family First Home Care - Philadelphia. They're doing basic care as far as food, clothes, and tidying up the place. I have like 13 hours, so it's broken up among three days. One of the things I didn't particularly care for is that when the caregiver wasn't able to come, they didn't call or let me know. We've had some conflict because the person who was supposed to be the original caregiver had some problems. They say they had received her papers that she had sent in in order to get the job, but then they came later, and they couldn't find it. They wanted her to send them again, and because she did not send them in time, they said they didn't want to take her along as an employee. I had asked the coordinator there at the place to reconsider her. I don't know about their billing because I'm under the VA, and the VA is the one that selected the agency. I've had several home care people come in, and most of them have been very good. They did what they were supposed to do. They need to be more attentive, and they need to let someone know if the caregiver is going to be there that day or if they can't make it.
