We are using Millbrook HomeCare for my father-in-law. Some of the services that they can provide include bathing assistance, personal care assistance, meal planning and preparation, medication reminders, and laundry. They can do caring companionship. They can do shopping and errands if they have a car, some of them don't have a car. They do offer more than just live-in care. So they do offer hourly rates or overnight rates too, so you can get individual assistance for a minimum of three hours per day, or you could do a weekday or just weekend visits. We just have her for a week, and she's wonderful. She is very kind and compassionate. She does whatever my father-in-law wants to do. For instance, one morning he said he wasn't getting out of bed today for breakfast, and she said, "Well, that's OK, we'll just have breakfast in bed". And she brought him breakfast in bed, and he thought that was like the best thing ever. He could do whatever he wants to do, whenever he wants to quit. So, there's no structure, it's whatever he wants to do. It doesn't have to be at seven o'clock, you need to get up. It's 11 o'clock, you have to have lunch, whatever he wishes to do. So she's nice that way. He seemed very, very happy. Anything we've asked for, they were able to provide. Any questions you have, they answered immediately. If you call, you're not getting a voicemail, you're getting a person. They give you their cell phone numbers like the directors of the agency, so you get in touch with them, not just you're waiting for a couple of days to hear back.
