The Hospice of Stark County is a wonderful organization. They helped me care for our 11 year old son before earning his wings in 2007. They provide care, personal communication, and a lot of hugs when needed. They helped us during a very difficult time, and were with us every step of the way. I am very grateful for their services and caring staff.

My mother in law was placed in hospice care through Stark Co. There is no support for the family or the patient. She is at the end of her life and hospice has only been in twice . At the time no questions or support was provided to family members. She has not had any nourishment or water for the past 6 days and is near death. However, the family is struggling and are unable to talk with any hospice social worker and/or nurse. This is not what the family was lead to believe would occur under hospice care. I would not recommend this hospice to anyone. It is absolutely horrible. I am from Mahoning county and we have a wonderful hospice.
