The second lady who came was wonderful. She helped me a great deal because I couldn't walk, and if I stood up, she touched me and made sure I was okay. The first person who came sat in a chair and watched 4 movies, told me about her life, and never lifted a hand for me.

If my brother or I can't be there to attend to my mother, we know that someone is there to help. They're completely responsive whenever we need them, and the people who they send have been great.

I like the attitude and care from Home Helpers, which is excellent. They have made life easier because it was dangerous for me to try to bathe and they provide socialization for me because I am home bound so I can talk to someone besides myself.

Most of the caregivers were pretty good. They have made life easier for me by having someone to be with my family member when I'm not around.

Home Helpers was very responsible with getting caregivers out to replace ones that couldn't make it. Although, the night shift caregiver kept falling asleep. There was one night caregiver that would bring a nightgown, pillow, and blanket. I would get a lot of phone calls with questions about the client's condition because the caregivers couldn't give medication. Some of the caregivers had a meltdown saying they could not handle the situation. One of the caregivers that had a meltdown said the client had problems which were not true.

The current caregiver is great. However, the substitutes that Home Helpers sends are not as great. They are not always comparable to Lois and her skills. Home Helpers mas made my life easier by taking care of things with my mother that I cannot do while I am working.

Home Helpers was very easy to work with. At the time I got the service, I couldn't bathe myself or drive myself. I was pretty much home bound.

Home Helpers has only been here a few weeks, and the people that they have sent so far are very good; they've been exactly what I needed. However, sometimes the office does not call me to let me know when a caregiver is not coming. Home Helpers has a positive impact on me because the client is old and I worry about them falling. The conversation that the caregivers offer help to stimulate the client's mind.
