We used All Valley Hospice Home Health & Hospice Care for about a month for my mother. They had an RN nurse, an LPN nurse, a chaplain, a social service, and an aide who was supposed to be doing her shower. The RN didn't try to help her when she fell, she was in a lot of pain because she had arthritis in her feet. It seemed like he didn't want to prescribe anything for her pain. The LPN who was very helpful was able to check for bladder infection and found pieces of her pad up inside of her, and like she hadn't been taken care of. She wasn't getting the care that she should have been getting from the aide. She was supposed to be given a shower twice a week, but she never showered her during that time. The RN seemed like he was interested in taking care of my mom. But if anything occurred on the weekends, he would always say, I'm going to get the LPN or another nurse to see your mom if she went to the hospital or whatever happened. I had a hard time. I don't think he was interested in helping. The chaplain was very nice, she would go up to see my mom. She said she would try to make more trips up there because she felt my mom needed a friend. She would pray with her.
