Mom needed services of the nurse, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and home health aide. All were very good, caring, and professional. The physical therapist in particular, was exceptional in the care he gave. He worked very well with Mom, using the right amount of humor, gentleness, and directness to motivate her. He left written instructions (with diagrams) for "homework" exercises. He dealt with Mom's concerns and answered all our questions. All the professionals were considerate in scheduling their appointments, fitting them in when it was convenient for us.

If there was a way to not give stars or to give negative stars I would be. My grandpa left oakwood rehabilitation center and went home with this agency. He soon there after contracted cdiff. An infection he has 2 times while at oakwood. The first day he had issues there was a "sub nurse" who assured my grandmother and father that grandpa didn't have cdiff. 2 days later the official nurse came. By this time grandpa was exhibiting signs of dehydration. The nurse said Based on the smell of the stool he was fine and it was probably just a bug. Both my dad (who had to take off work to be there ) and grandma expressed concern of grandpa's deteriorating health to be assured he was fine with just a little virus or bug but definitely not cdiff. My dad went as far as to request testing to be done anyhow to which the nurse said there was no need to. She said she would call the doctor and notify him of grandpa's situation and then call my family with an update. We never heard from a nurse again. Grandpa became too weak to walk. A call into their emergency number told is to take him to an urgent care. They wouldn't be able to give him an iv to hydrate him on the weekend anyhow. She also shared that her nurses notes had no record of concern nor my father being present at both visits. The emergency manager went as far as to say a quote was recorded from grandma saying my grandpa was "great". Considering he had barely ate or drank in days , lost tons of weight and my grandma was a nervous wreck about it. I highly doubt that was accurate. He ended up having to be transported by ambulance to the hospital where he was severely dehydrated with a severe cdiff infection which had been growing worse by the day. They were fired immediately. I wouldn't recommend them to care for an animal let alone your loved one based on our experience
