It was set up through a visiting nurse of UMHS. It took them around 2 weeks to provide us with a good home aide and I am contented with how the service was performed. The home aides were good and they took care of mom for probably three months. My mother-in-law was comfortable with them. They were a good match for her. They helped her with bathing and they were patient, respectful, nurturing and attentive. My mother in law is not responsive but she had no complaints on the home aides. The whole family is comfortable with the her caregiver. UMHS Home Care provides good home aides and I would recommend them for that. There was this instance though that one home aide was absent and nobody was sent in her place, but we were fine with that. They notified us about the absence anyway.
