Our mission is to provide the overall best home care available for the growing senior population in Anne Arundel and Prince Georges Counties. Visiting Angels of South County is licensed, bonded and insured in accordance with Maryland law. At Visiting Angels we are passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence by providing first-rate professional care. Our experienced caregivers combine all the essential skills of home care with the compassion and kindness your loved ones deserve. Our care enables seniors to continue to live happily at home. One of the advantages in choosing Visiting Angels is having the opportunity to select your own caregiver. That is important not only to optimize the caregiver's relationship with the care recipient but also to provide the confidence and peace of mind essential to the family. Visiting Angels employs only experienced caregivers. It is required that each has a minimum of three years experience in caregiving or related fields, such as nursing facilities. Some of our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and some are Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA). All of them must have a caring and nurturing nature to work for us. After working 25 years in Washington, DC, she decided to use her administrative expertise in a more personally rewarding career. Today, she owns and runs the day-to-day operations of Visiting Angels of South County, meeting each and every prospective client to provide personal and detailed home care options for families in need. We proudly serve Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties. We provide care to cover days, nights, weekends and holidays on a short-term or long-term basis.
