We are using Amedisys hospice for my wife. The care is excellent and we really like it. They're very helpful, congenial, fun to be around, and very good. Our communication with the agency is excellent and very timely. When something is requested, they respond usually the same day within several hours. I would highly recommend them. They've been excellent.

I live with and care for my 88yr old mother. She has many diagnosis, which include CAD, CHF, COPD, Dementia, to name a few. Hospice has been in the home 2yrs ago and I loved them then. She was re-admitted last summer. The nurse and aide are the best. They are friendly, fun, do a great job and keep me informed. Since Mom is home alone while I'm at work ( I have an iPhone app that lets me keep an eye on her thru my webcam) it is very comforting that they come in and see her 4 out of 5 days a week. We have contact with the Social Worker, Chaplin, and the office staff from time to time. These are the most caring and helpful people you could ask for. I would never use anyone else. My mother has been using this service for over 6 months. The nurse visits her 3 days a week for services and each visit her blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation are assessed. The nurse also changes my Moms dressing and helped her get a wheelchair. Mom also received Physical Therapy for a couple of months. We have been very satisfied with Total.
