People Working Cooperatively is a non-profit organization that helps low-income seniors remain in their homes. It performs emergency and critical home repairs, including roof replacements, furnace replacements and repairs of broken water pipes. It also installs ramps, stairlifts, grab bars and other mobility modifications. Through its weatherization program, it performs energy audits, furnace cleaning and when appropriate, it installs weatherization materials. These services are provided by the organization’s 6,000-plus volunteers.

Miami Valley Community Action Partnership

Founded in 1964, this non-profit organization provides a variety of services to low-income people in Ohio’s Miami Valley. These services may include insulation, weather-stripping or furnace repair.
