Attendant Care Staff assist clients with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, nail care, medication reminders, and other personal care tasks. Respite/Good Friends Staff offer families relief from the demands of keeping an ill older adult at home. Workers relieve family to allow time to take care of their own needs without stress and worry. "My wife, Susan, had a stroke 20 years ago that left her totally paralyzed on her left side. I began with Sr1Care about 10 years ago when we moved into their service area. Sr 1Care put together a team of caregivers that were trained in the specifics of caring for Susan. Whenever a caregiver had a family emergency and couldn't come to work, another fully trained caregiver would take over.
