I have a total of six family members living in an assisted center resident, sad to say. My mother is one of them. My mother has been a client of Comfort Keepers for almost a year and a half. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to them for their professionalism compassion and genuine concern for my parents. Having Comfort Keepers in my life has been the difference between desperation and a relaxation. G.B has been the caregiver for a year (my father passed away six months ago) and in that year my mom became very depressed. No amount of pleading could persuade her to attend activities at her assisted living complex before G.B. came along. Now she regularly attends exercise class even when G.B. isn't there. She is more talkative and generally just happier. With a little encouragement from G.B. she even took the microphone and sang a little solo at the house sing-along. Mother loves G.B. and tells me that she always looks forward to the days that she comes to visit.
