It put my spouse back in the hospital because my spouse had a panic attack. They don't show up. I can't believe my insurance would choose this company. The nurses did nothing, had no gloves, and had no supplies. The nurse wasn't in a uniform or properly dressed and came dressed in a t-shirt and cut off shorts.

She helped by taking the client out. She would take her to get her hair done, to get McDonald's, and to the gambling route. The old caregiver was great but the new one is very vague with what she writes.

I thought the man was very nice and very professional and their office staff was very professional but they didn't try hard enough to get the right fit. They could have provided a better health care worker to try to fit into our environment. The first time they sent somebody and she was way overweight and didn't fit into the space that we have for the showering and stuff, and that was never taken into consideration. I don't think they tried hard enough to get us a caregiver who fit.

They are helpful and definitely make life easier. They give baths, which is much more comfortable for them to do instead of me because I'm the family member, and my loved one would cry out. The stress is a lot better for me because now I can just be the family member. They'll make a light breakfast or lunch and help them exercise and move. Walking can be a challenge so they help with that. The therapist is wonderful with the equipment. The equipment that they bring is great, and they put her to bed. They allow me to get out, pay bills, and buy groceries. The first set up wasn't good enough, so we had to go with the second option. The second fit was perfect, and my loved one likes the staff.

I would tell a friend that BrightStar Care has sent us some poor caregivers. BrightStar Care needs to hire better caregivers than what they have right now.
