I can not say enough great things about the nursing staff at Nirvana. My nurses were very kind, patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for me on numerous occasions. I was on multiple medications that I didn't understand and I had a wound on my foot that wouldn't heal. The way my doctor told me to care for my wound was not working but my nurse called and waited on hold for 30 minutes to get permission to use an advanced dressing. Within 2 weeks she had me fully healed. She always called to set up a time with me and was never late either.

Do not have this agency assist you or your loved ones with any medical care. I had two nurses assigned to come start an IV treatment. the first nurse told me that she didn't think she could start the IV because she had not don it in a long time. She tried anyways but could not stop shaking long enough to make the port work. She apologized and told me to go to the emergency room so that they could get a line in and that at that point she would come back. The emergency room will not do that. The following day Nirvana had another nurse assigned who called me and when I explained that all I needed was to get an IV started she stated that she had not done that since college and that she would have to call her supervisor. She called me back to tell me that he supervisor informed her that she had to come to my house and try even if she did not feel comfortable. It is inconceivable that this company has such lack of concern for their patients.
