I would chose this Hospice over any other in Danbury. Another family member was at the Regional Hospice and Center for Palliative Care and their priority was MONEY. Their second priority was image. Unlike 2 South they did not follow Hospice principles at all except that my uncle was given his medication and fed. My aunt and cousins , who were all grief stricken, were told they would receive pastoral care and they were all completely ignored as were my uncle's spiritual needs. Regional Hospice chzrges $550 per day for basic custodial care and most of the work is done by volunteers. It is a farce and an over decorated facade for a highly paid administrations. They were heartless. Please consider 2 South where Chsplaibs visit and attend to your needs. If you want a resort, and to blow your money away, try Tegional. If you want people to care for the patient and the entire family and don't mind a hospital setting, l highly recommend 2 South. It is a hospital, people are trained and they understand the Hospice philosophy.
