I just want to thank the Mercy Hospice nurses and staff. They were great, compassionate, and gave great care to my grandfather. My grandfather passed away yesterday and the nurse, Ms. Linda that came out was fantastic. Again, just want to say thank you to all staff involved with his care.

The staff from Mercy Hospice were wonderful, caring professionals, but when it became apparent that my husband was passing away and having major problems there was no help available. I kept calling the Hospice 24 hour help line and was told to increase the morphine (3 times) and to administer medication from the care kit that I had been given when the RN had visited the first time. I kept calling and telling hospice the morphine wasn't working and my husband was getting more agitated from not being able to breath, by the time hospice realized the medication wasn't helping and called a nurse to come to my house it was too late. My daughter and I were totally tramatized by not having a professional helping us at the end of my husband's life and we have been having horible nightmares since.

Mercy Hospice provided my sister with the highest quality of care I could have asked for. They were there for me as well as for my sister.I am totally satisfied and feel that the people really care for the patients. I am so happy they were there for us at a time that we needed them so.

My husband was a patient in our home under the care of Mercy Hospice. A special kind of caring. Excellent help and support. Wonderful care and comfort through the last step of going home. Emotional and spiritual support for the patient and family members. Always just a phone call away. Follow up bereavement support. We were partners in all decision making. I would recommend Mercy Hospice to anyone at the end of their life journey.
