My mom was cared for by Hospice of the East Bay and I have to say thank you to all the wonderful people (more like angels) that cared for my mom during her last few months. We don’t know what we would’ve done without you. We received timely pain medications, timely visits and very clear explanations of everything. This is such a scary time for families because we want to do the best for our loved one and we depend on strangers to help us. They did not elevate our stress and actually helped me to not completely freak out. At the end when my mom took a downturn, Hospice of the East Bay responded very quickly to get her the pain meds she needed in a timely manner. Wait times on the phone during the entire time she was under their care were less than two minutes and usually only about one minute. I can’t say thank you enough.

This is an amazing group. Every person we encountered treated us in the most compassionate and supportive way. Our intake nurse was wonderful. The visit from the Social worker and Head nurse was so informative. This information was given in the kindest way. The nurse that came out in the middle of the night is truly an amazing person. The direction, compassion, and honesty she gave us, will not be forgotten. The sweet lady that came out to prepare my dad for the mortuary treated us with care at a very emotional time. Finally the VA representative that assisted us with veterans benefits after my fathers passing was a welcomed surprise. I would more than recommend Hospice of East Bay. I would strongly advise anyone in need of this type of care go to Hospice of East Bay above all else.

Hospice of the East Bay is a god send. Those people are angels, so they are amazing. They have taken over everything, including care and medication, and essentially have become our 911. They are doing a very good job to keep Dad comfortable in his final days. They don't need to do anything to improve what they are doing; they are doing a great job.
