She was in the Charter Hospice, and we weren’t too happy with them, but we had a deal. They were into the ballpark with anything. The owner had to keep reminding them to bring the stuff like diapers because it was running out. I just wasn’t too happy with the way they handled things.

The RN sent to care for my mother ended up using my mother as a venting station for his personal problems. Although she is always willing to listen, this became bothersome and caused her to begin to worry about his problems more than her illness and needs. It's bad enough that she only has my husband and I to help her (as my siblings have taken the high road and don't assist, only call with their own personal problems much like this RN) after the death of my father and moving closer to us where she is receiving family support....; but now she has another person added to the list to worry about. The case manager changed twice and the last one before ending the services was distant and disconnected from the whole process. I was not happy with their service overall. The LVN was very patient and kind. I wish he could have been there for RN and LVN visits. It would have been better for mom.

The rep that helps you get started, Aaron literally replied LOL when I asked him to send paperwork again because my father passed away. LOL? Pretty much describes the professionalism that this company offered. Called me on a Thursday that my father had hours left to live. Friday he died at 3pm and fortunately the facility contacted me to let me know because Charter didn't call me until 2 hours after. Look for other options. Any other options.

Charter Hospice staff is by far the best group of people you can work with during hospice care. Each person our family dealt with was caring and very professional. The administration and individual staff were immediately responsive to our questions and requests. The care that they provided to my wife was OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend Ccharter Hospice to any family that are in need of their services.

I find charter hospice to be a money making company. It seems they need to always be here even when not needed some days cause if they don't show they don't get paid. RN made a comment as to we need your mom to be just a little more worser then before so they can keep her on as a client. The shower person also stated that even if we say we don't need her to come that day she was instructed to still come to the house to check and ask if the patient needed any thing. If they don't have any records of comming they don't get paid. To me it seems they are sperad out to thin and its more about the money then the patient. I am in the process of changing services and will not use charter again

the best hospice I have ever dealt with, the staff was wonderful, their care was superb. I highly recommend it to any one. They really understand the need of their patients. My grandma passed away of breast cancer and with out these amazing nurses it would have been a lot harder. I am very satisfied.

I would like to thank each and everyone who helped in the care of my precious sister. Your help and support during this difficult time was a true blessing to our family. We are not sure if we could have made it without you. All who turn to Charter Hospice for care and loving concern will forever be grateful as my family will be. Thank you again and many blessings to you all.

My mother was with charter hospice and i simply can not stop talking good things about them. They made our deepest and darkest days simply amazing. They helped us with all that we needed. They cared for my mom as if she was their mom. The nurses were great and caring. I highly recommend Charter Hospice everyone. Thank you for all their love and support.

I cannot recommend Charter Home Hospice. The company is trying to expand too quickly and are covering too big of a geographical to provide quality service. The administration is lacking guidance and organization and personnel are very transient which causes the family to lack consistency of care. In my experience, appropriate medical precautions were not utilized which led to the rapid decline of my family member. Chrter Hospice operates solely like a business and not a hospice service agency to the family. I was forced to report this facility to the JASCO, a government agency which oversees hospice facilities and they have ground in my favor! My personal doctor referred my family to Charter Hospice, which was his big mistake. Other than looking at the salesforce of Charter, the doctor should have investigated the services, organization and practices before recommending this facility. My experience with Charter Home Hospice was a total NIGHTMARE!

While my mother was ill with breast cancer at the age of 54. she was informed that there was nothing left to do but make herself comfortable. Charter Hospice of San Bernardino was the best thing that could have happened to our family and even though it was only about 2 weeks with them helping us with our mother, the care and compassion and also the follow ups for the past year have been wonderful. I would recommend Charter Hospice to anyone and everyone.
