I'm in Care Partners Assisted Living in Weston. I want to get out of here. This place isn't very nice. The people here are supposed to assist you and all they are, are pain in the butt. My room is filthy. Maybe once every two weeks, they'll vacuum my room and they are supposed to clean my bathroom every day and they don't do it as much as I ask them to. The food here is terrible. Everything they serve is compressed and it tastes terrible. I'm 70 years old and all the other people here are 90 to 100. As far as employment, the turnaround here has got to be unreal. They're here about a couple of months and they leave. They buy frozen vegetables, and they boil them and what that does is it takes all the nutrients out of it. It's not helping any people at all. The room isn't super small but it's not large by any means. There's your bathroom, closet, a bed, and a couch that you'd be throwing away because it's gross. Other than that, I got my own stuff. I got an ice maker, a refrigerator, a microwave, and an air freshener. One of the bad things is you are supposed to get your television free here along with your phone service, but I ended up buying my own wi-fi and phone service. What got me mad was that they told me I was incompetent to pay the bill. They take all my money which is around $3700 a month with Social Security and they use that to pay for it. The staff members here are not CNAs, they are just aides. There are no RNs here whatsoever. They have a manager here and she lies about stuff. While I was here, I lost $4200 out of my room. I lost two brand-new telephones, and I lost a CD player. The only thing I can do is call the police and they can't do anything because it's a private facility. She doesn't even go around and talk to people to see who took the money. Every month they put out an activity sheet that they're supposed to be doing and they don't do anything. There's a thing called consortium here and they look at your money how much comes in and they decide what your cost share is. For me, it's like $2200 and then you add on the $900 for room and board. It's like a mob taking your money. For almost $1000 a month, I could probably live in a nice hotel.

I visited Care Partners Assisted Living in Weston. The tour went well. We were impressed with the facility and the price was reasonable. The facility is very nice. The amenities were very good, activity-wise. The room was of good size. It had enough room for him to do what he needed. It had a private bathroom and that's the one thing that impressed me. One of the nurses has gone through this issue that we are right now, very informative about what they do for the care of the person who is going to be living there, and answered our questions on a lot of stuff as far as doctors or whatever had to be done. The medical care was very informative.
