The Courtyard at Oshkosh

We went to The Courtyard at Oshkosh and talked in a conference room. The gentleman told us about things and gave us a brochure to look through. The rooms were on the small side, but they were very nice and clean. Everything smelled nice and fresh. The person giving me a tour went past where the dining area and things were and as we were going down the walkway through areas, he would just point at them and did not stop to give you a chance to look around at them. So, it was a very fast short tour. They have a pond and one of the residents had a good view of it, while the other room didn't. However, the room was set up more for someone with a wheelchair. So, it was handicapped-accessible and the one by the pond was not. They're all private rooms. If you were living there and paying the rent. It's the same as having an apartment anywhere else. If you want to put pictures up or have plants in your room, you could do that.

My dad has moved into The Courtyard at Oshkosh. It's very nice, and the whole staff is extremely nice, too. It has been wonderful, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. His room is a decent size. There has not been as much activity with the COVID, but they do movies and different games. They have a great room with a big screen TV and a fireplace, and they have a really nice outdoor size patio, and there's plenty of rooms and tables, so it is nice for them to go out there. I would definitely give them an awesome rating.
