"We are choosing Ellen's Home of Germantown South for my husband because it seemed like a good fit for him. It was more sparsely populated and there was more room for him since people weren't right on top of each other. The place was very neat and the rooms were nice-sized. They had a bird aviary there, which was very interesting. It just looked like things were under control. No locks on the door, which was something different but necessary for some. The staff was very helpful and informative. Overall, it was a very good tour experience. It just felt right."

"We moved Mom to Serenity Villa V. It's peaceful. It's a well-kept home setting. The rooms are very clean and efficient. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are true professionals in memory care. They have exercise, they listen to music, they dance, they whack balloon balls with pool noodles, and they have a fish aquarium. They don't get an opportunity to just sit. They are busy all the time. The food is wonderful, just like Mom made it."

"New Perspective had very caring staff, and was very clean. It was not like a nursing home, but like a hotel when you walk in. They had a fountain, like a waterfall, and a lot of comfy furniture around. The location was conveniently right off the freeway. They had gardens around, and a courtyard with flowers for residents to enjoy. They had music, bingo, sing alongs, day trips, brain fitness, and balloon volleyball. They had a lot going from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m."
